This book meme really hits home for me. When I read, I become emotionally involved with my characters to the point where I cry and I am so moody that my hubby knows to stay far, far away. When we're on road trips and I'm reading, he knows to not talk to me until I close the book. I can see him judging me from the corner of my eye to see if I'm ready to talk. He knows now that if I'm in a bad mood, it's probably because something bad has happened to one of my favorite characters.

#3- Peeta Mellark- Hunger Games By: Suzanne Collins
I jumped on the Hunger Games bandwagon when Mockingjay came out. I didn't know anything about the series until one of my students said I had to read it. There was no talks into a movie deal yet when I read them, so I fell in love with Peeta before Josh Hutcherson was cast to play him in the movie. I was definitely Team Peeta and not Team Gale.
What makes him a great "Fictional Boyfriend":
I'm sorry, but Katniss does not deserve him! He risks his life for her knowing that she doesn't love him back. Peeta goes above and beyond to protect her and show her his feelings, but Katniss doesn't even see what a great guy he is. His family owns their own business...so he has money. Haha...but overall, it's his love and devotion for Katniss that makes him a great fictional boyfriend. All women want a man who would do anything for you...and he is your man!!

#2- Tobias 'Four' Eaton- Divergent Series By: Veronica Roth
Isn't Theo James a sexy man? When I heard he was playing Four on the silver screen I was excited. I hoped and prayed that they wouldn't screw this series up with the movie. There were parts that I didn't like, but overall, I enjoyed it. Want to know something funny? I actually have the Four Barbie Doll on my classroom bookshelf! His doll even has the tattoos painted on his back! Super sexy. Would he have a doll or an action figure? Hmmm...
What makes him a great "Fictional Boyfriend":
First of all, he's super hot. I mean, he's Dauntless for crying out loud! He's rough, tough, and built. But Four isn't just a nice piece of meat to look at, or read about, he's also very sensitive. He cares about Tris and tries to protect her during her training. He also doesn't try and change Tris and mold her into what he wants; he accepts her and all of her flaws. He's also very loyal and doesn't stray from Tris. Four risks his life many times for not only Tris, but her family as well. Veronica Roth did an excellent job creating the sexual tension between the two characters. It made me feel all warm and toasty inside just reading about him.
Well, there they are!! My #3 and #2 "Fictional Boyfriends." Stay tuned for my #1!!
What do you think of my choice of "Fictional Boyfriends"? Do you agree?
