Goodreads Blurb: To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before is the story of Lara Jean, who has never openly admitted her crushes, but instead wrote each boy a letter about how she felt, sealed it, and hid it in a box under her bed. But one day Lara Jean discovers that somehow her secret box of letters has been mailed, causing all her crushes from her past to confront her about the letters: her first kiss, the boy from summer camp, even her sister's ex-boyfriend, Josh. As she learns to deal with her past loves face to face, Lara Jean discovers that something good may come out of these letters after
all.
Bookworm Review: This was a book that I had seen on someone's YouTube channel and they talked about how cool the cover was. I then saw it at my local Walmart and picked it up.
Did I like it? Yes, and no. The back blurb made me excited about what would happen if my letters had gotten out to a bunch of boys. I would be mortified!! I would hunt them all down and try to steal the mail out of their mailbox. That's what I thought the book was going to be
about...but it wasn't. It really only focused on two of the boys.
It really took me the first seventy pages to get into the book. I almost put it back on the shelf a few times, but I'm glad I didn't. In the end, I actually liked the book. Lara Jean is such a sweet girl and I loved her sister Kitty. The Song family is super cute and I loved them. I also really liked the characters Peter and Josh.
Was this book what I expected? No...but did I enjoy it
anyways? Yes!(
all.
