Can you believe that it's already October?? Where has the year gone?? I'm totally loving the Top Ten themes for this month and I can't wait to see how others are doing theirs too. The ladies at The Broke and Bookish had today for the Top Ten Villains. I am a total Disney fan, so I just had to focus on them today!! Who doesn't love a guy who wants a smart, shy girl. Plus, Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, just check out my profile!! My favorite part is where he's trying to distract Belle while she reads!! I have to say that the best Hook is from the 90's film Hook. Loved this version and loved this Hook much better than the animated one!! Isn't this a great picture of her? My favorite thing about Ursula was her song "Poor Unfortunate Souls." It scared the crap out of me when I was little seeing these seaweed plants trying to grab at Ariel. This is my son's favorite movie and I even took him and my oldest to see it on Broadway last year. They loved it!! He is in my top five because he makes the little bird sing "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts..." And he has a dry humor. Aladdin was pretty close to my top favorite movies. All I can say is that when he turned into that creepy snake at the end, I almost peed my pants!! "If she doesn't scare you...no evil thing will!!" Who wants to turn 101 innocent puppies into a coat? Plus, her scary driving makes any little kid scared too. I could see others having Maleficent as their first choice, especially after the blow up of The Isle of the Lost. She was pretty scary after she turned into that giant dragon surrounded by thorn bushes!! I remember my sister calling me up and raving about how I would love Frozen...and she was right!! I mean, a story where it's not the prince that saves the day, but sisterly love? I'm sold!! I have to admit that I was shocked Prince Hans ended up being the villain!! This movie flies under the radar of Disney movies, but I LOVED this movie. It was so funny!! Yzma was drawn perfectly and she was casted perfectly. "Mirror, mirror on the wall..." She wanted the Huntsman to bring her Snow White's heart as proof that she was dead. Pretty creepy, huh? I also love the makeup on the Evil Queen. Look at her eyebrows!! Who is your favorite Disney villain??

GASTON was terrible. And he threw Belle's book in the mud. Unforgivable!! The bear in the 3rd Toy Story movie was pretty scary for me and I'm in my 30's!! Also the Stepmother in Cinderella was no picnic. I like your choices too!! Scar would definitely be on my list.

I was shocked about Prince Hans, too! I had been singing along to "Love is An Open Door" for weeks before I saw the movie, and then after seeing it, it kind of ruined the song for me...bummer : (

Great idea to do Disney villains! Ursula and Jafar are definitely two of my favourites :-)
